Because of the coronavirus, new measures have been added in the Netherlands, among other things, such as don’t shed hands, avoid social contact and we are obliged to stay indoors and all schools and social facilities are closed. This is to prevent the virus from spreading even more. That is why herchapter has something different than usual this week.

I love to read and I definitely have a few books that I can’t wait to read and because it’s a book week! Buy your new book or reread your old books again. And if you do not like reading, there is also TV that offers many options in the field of films and series:

Euphoria: One of my favorites and im waithing on season 2… “Euphoria” follows the troubled life of 17-year-old Rue, a drug addict fresh from rehab with no plans to stay clean. Circling in Rue’s orbit are Jules, a transgender girl searching for where she belongs; Nate, a jock whose anger issues mask sexual insecurities. (only seen on HBO – Ziggo)

When They See Us: When They See Us is based on a true story that gripped the US. The series is about five teenagers who have been convicted of rape they did not commit. The case is also known as Central Park Five… on Netflix.

Queen Sono’s: Played by South African actor Pearl Thusi, Queen is a secret agent working for the Special Operations Group. On the surface she is focused and ambitious, but beneath it all she is driven by the need to avenge her mother’s murder…. on Netflix.

She’s gotta have it: She’s Gotta Have It centers on Nola Darling, a Brooklyn-based artist in her late twenties struggling to define herself and divide her time amongst her Friends, her Job and her Three Lovers: The Cultured Model, Greer Childs… on Netflix.

Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes: If you are looking for genuine terror, let it come in the form of a documentary series about the life of the man whose psychopathic cruelty traumatised America in the 1970s: namely, Ted Bundy. Based on his interviews with Stephen Michaud, which were held and recorded in jail while he was on death row, and in which the reporter asked him to respond to his questions in the third person to…. on Netflix

Sex Education: Follow the life of a group of teenagers who open sex therapy practices at school. The mother of the insecure Otis is a sex therapist, so he has all the answers when it comes to sex. There are currently two seasons… on Netflix.

Love is Blind: Take some single girls and single boys, stick a wall between them and make them talk to each other. What do you get? Pure chaos. These hopeful romantics are ready to couple up without ever seeing each other, and even though several of them say ‘I love you’ after three days, unsurprisingly many of the relationships don’t last long in the outside world… on Netflix

Next in Fashion:Is a perfect binge for Project Runway fans, offering Netflix’s take on the tried-and-tested fashion competition format…. on Netflix.

Stranger Things: Now that Stranger Things’ third season has arrived this summer, we can be cautiously looking forward to Stranger Things season 4, as Netflix has officially confirmed the fourth season of one of the best Netflix series! The creators of the series, The Duffer Brothers, have signed a multi-year film and series deal with the streaming service on netflix.

I have a name: You don’t know me, but you’ve been inside me and that’s why we’re here today’ is sentence one of the letter Chanel Miller read at the hearing. It was addressed to the boy who assaulted her and was sentenced to six months in prison. You want to read her memoir.

Dare to fail: Elizabeth Deth broke through with her novel Het Feest and made the popular podcast How to fail in which she interviews (famous) people about their failures. She discusses this in more detail in this book. Recognizable and entertaining.

Older but better, but older: After How to be a Parisian, Caroline de Maigret and Sophie Mas explore what it means to age. Not only in terms of love, life, family and work, but also in terms of beauty and style.

I hope you like it. Have a beautiful day and may God bless you above all your expectations…
